This giant bee represents my current fixation. I've BEEn (get it) trying to make a mechanism that allows the bee wings to flap quickly, but still be hidden in the body, and only powered through a tall brass pipe to the bee. All with a mechanical cranking that isn't too hard to spin. Its harder than it looks. And no, no motors please. At least not yet!
