Last Flight of the Bumble Bee was made in 2011 and is one of the few automata that I personally hung onto to. Most of my creations are given away and a couple I've sold, but this one I had much fun with.

You turn the crank on the side and the bumble bee will flutter it's wings intermittently while three purple smoke clouds seem to be streaming out the back. I made these rotate separately to give the smoke the illusion of billowing. If I could add to this I would have 'Flight of the Valkyries' playing in the background as you cranked.

HA! You though 'Flight of the Bumble Bee'. Wrong!
