Mr Fox was made for friends of mine Aki and Reiko in 2012. I was quite inspired at the time and managaed to build him in about a month.

When you crank Mr Fox, the cam is turned by a spring that acts like a worm gear. The cam slowly rotates around until it pushes on a lever, which lowers the newspaper very slowly. As you keep turning, his eyebrows move up and down a couple times. You continue cranking and the newspaper raises once again to cover up his sneaky look.

If you read the newspaper carefully, apparently Mr Fox discovered the higgs bosun, was voted the sexiest fox alive, and landed a Giant Squid whilst fishing.
